Popcaan’s recently released album went as high as number two on the Reggae chart, so why didn’t his teacher and mentor, Vybz Kartel, able to do the same with his release? Well, it turns out that even the most ardent Vybz Kartel fans do not believe that “To Tanesha” is a quality album.
Below are what Dancehall and Reggae Music fans are saying about Vybz Kartel’s album not charting:
“Why are people even surprise. Kartel music is just good for a month then it’s done. Still waiting for him to release a hit song.”
“The album wasn’t that great. It had good moments, but I feel he’s loosing touch with his audience.”
“I’ll listen when he turn back black.”
“Of course it didn’t do well.. the album was not good.”
“His music hasn’t be good for a long time. He makes too much music with poor quality.”
“I hate to hear that Ngl i really didn’t care for it.”
“The album was trash… and I rate kartel.”
“Damn, he flopped. When you stan for clownery, the clown comes back to bite.”
“I’m too busy listening to Burna Boy to waste time on Vybz Kartel.”
