Alkaline who turned himself into police for questioning this morning has been questioned and released. The vendetta boss was summoned by the constabulary to turn himself in for questioning in regards to a murder that took place on January 13.
18 Karat Reggae was informed that Alkaline was questioned in the presence of his attorney, Peter Champagnie.
“My client certainly is not a person of interest in the sense of the word that the police are in the habit of using,” Champagnie said. “He fully cooperated and answered all the questions that were asked of him.”
While Alkaline was not charged today, he could be called in for further questioning in the future, according to people close to the case.
Alkaline has maintained his innocence and is making it clear that he does not know anything about the crime that cops are going after him for. Morris, 28, was shot some 15 times in front of his 5-year-old daughter.
