Fans of Vybz Kartel are worried that prison life might finally be taking its toll on the deejay, or even worse, he might not be in the best of physical health.
A photo of Vybz Kartel behind bars went public today via social-media and the world boss is almost unrecognizable.
“There is now way that is Vybz Kartel,” one fan commented on Instagram.
“World boss, you are looking like you are sick my brother,” another fan posted.
Vybz Kartel was taken to the hospital for thyroid issues a few weeks ago but his attorneys have confirmed that doctors gave him a clean bill of health after the thyroid issue was taken care of.
Fans might be worrying a little too much and forgetting that the deejay is getting older and could just be showing signs of aging. Because Kartel’s lyrics sound as young as Alkaline’s, fans might forget that he is actually old enough to be Alakaline’s father at 43-years-old.
Vybz Kartel is serving a life sentence for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams. He has already appealed his conviction and is currently awaiting the verdict from his appeal.
