There is an old Jamaican proverb that says, “Let fart be free wherever you be, because that was the death of poor Mary Lee.” It seems like Shenseea might be too young to have heard the phrase or if she heard it, she never took heed.
Shenseea says she was hospitalized with severe stomach pain after holding in gas around her new rapper boyfriend last night.
“I woke up at 4:30am with severe stomach pains and ended up in the hospital,” Shenseea told 18 Karat Reggae. “But I am doing better now. The doctor says it was just an accumulation of trapped farts.”
The Dancehall Princess who is in the tristate area for shows in Hartford, Connecticut and Queens, New York this weekend said she stopped by The Door Restaurant in Queens and had a little too much to eat.
“I am not really greedy, but I ordered jerk chicken, oxtail, curry roti and stew peas with pigtails,” Shenseea said. “After I finished eating the huge meal, I had black rum cake for dessert which I washed down with a glass of peanut punch and a can of Supligen. So, this really had me scared of farting around my beau, especially since we have only been dating for a few weeks,” she continued.
Shenseea says she regrets ignoring her gastrointestinal distress and plans to be an advocate for ladies who are afraid and ashamed to fart around their men. “Girls don’t be ashamed to fart in front of your man,” Shenseea said. “Because what’s really embarrassing is having your man having to rush you to the hospital in the wee hours of the morning only for the doctor to say there is nothing wrong and the discomfort is nothing but trapped farts.”
She added that she would be wary of natural gas buildups in the future, saying, “From now on, I’m letting them rip, guys.”
Trying to hold farts in leads to a buildup of pressure and major discomfort. A buildup of intestinal gas can trigger abdominal distension, with some gas reabsorbed into the circulation and exhaled in your breath. Holding on too long means the buildup of intestinal gas will eventually escape via an uncontrollable fart.
Shenseea is doing well and will be live in Hartford. Connecticut tonight (April 1st) and then she will be in Queens, New York Tomorrow night (April 2nd) at club Amazura
