Fans of Dalton Harris were hoping that the 2018 X Factor winner would be joining Buju Banton on the Long Walk to Freedom Tour. Unfortunately them that will not be the case, at least not for the first leg of the tour which will take place in Jamaica at the National Stadium on March 16th.
Buju Banton fans were not keen to the idea of the Rasta inviting the X Factor winner on the tour, after rumors swirled that Daltom Harris is gay when a photo was spread online of him sitting in another man’s lap. Still the possibility did exist of Harris joining the tour as Donavan Germain is the manager of both entertainers.
Instead joining Buju Banton on the first leg of the tour will be Chronixx, Cocoa Tea, Etana, Ghost, Romain Virgo, Jahzeil, Delly Ranks, Agent Sasco and LUST.
Buju Banton’s publicist, Ronnie Tomlinson, said that Buju is playing a major role in selecting the artistes who will be performing on the tour with him.
“We know he’s looking forward to a 90-minute set, but there might be more time based on conversations we’ve had,” Tomlinson said.
“I can definitely say that he is excited. He’s really anticipating the performance. Rehearsals are going on, and he always wants to go to rehearsal, to make sure everything is right.”
After the Jamaican leg of the tour it will continue in Trinidad, Barbados, the Bahamas St. Kitts and then Buju will also perform at Summer Jam in Germany.
